Adult Education

Adult Christian Ed. 2015 Lenten Program is a 6-week video based study entitled “Final Words”.  This series, is presented by Adam Hamilton, senior pastor of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas (who did the “Not a Silent Night” Advent series we did in December).  It examines Christ’s dying hours and his final words as seen and heard through the eyes and ears of those who stood near the cross. The series provides fresh insight into Jesus’ final words at the cross through the perspective of those who witnessed the crucifixion. Then, Hamilton moves beyond the cross to Jesus' words to the disciples on the road to Emmaus and to those who were witnesses to the Resurrection.  We will meet each Sunday at 10:20 a.m. in the Conference Room.  All are invited to join us for this program.
