Blessing of the Animals Service: SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2014 @ 4 PM

Since 1997, we  have given thanks to God for the "blessings" that we receive from our animal companions, by holding the Blessing of the Animals Service on the third Sunday of Advent at 4:00 p.m. Originally held in the one room schoolhouse just east of the Church on Donegal Springs Road, we now hold it in Fellowship Hall to take advantage of the easy access for all participants.

We sing hymns, read scriptures, have a message or reflection from Pastor Tom, and then each animal companion is brought up to Pastor Tom and he gives a special "blessing" to each one!

As everyone leaves, "treats" are given to all those who have been blessed!  It is a very meaningful service and should not be missed!!  You may come without an animal companion, too.

All pets must be restrained from wandering about. Unless caged or muzzled, no cats over 50 lbs. NO wolves, lions, tigers or bears (oh my) without written consent from Toto. Please leave Cheetah at home with poisonous snakes and spiders.  Wookies are acceptable, if clothed.
