"Pull Yourself Together!"
You've heard it a million times. Others may have said it to you or you may have said it to yourself. But things just aren't coming together. You're still hurting. You still feel like things are falling apart. Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers who will walk with you, listen to you, and provide confidential one-to-one care, as you search through the pieces and find what is truly in your heart.  To learn more about Stephen Ministry for yourself or someone you know, talk with one of our Stephen Ministry Leaders listed in the bulletin.  Our Stephen Ministers are ready to care for you.

What is Stephen Ministry?

Stephen Ministry is an active Distinctively Christian Care ministry reaching out to churches and the community.  Upon the completion of 50 hours in training, and commissioning, Stephen Ministers are prepared to minister to hurting people dealing with difficult issues such as: long-term health care, death, divorce, new birth, moving to a different home, hospitalization, aging parents, to name a few.

Commissioned  Stephen Ministers are then designated as 'Care Givers', and assigned to a same gender 'Care Receivers', having completed a brief referral process. This begins the one-on-one caring relationship.

"Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2
